About me

I’m a NY-based bilingual (English & Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years’ clinical experience working with adolescents and adults from various backgrounds and cultures. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and have completed extensive training in several evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Functional Family Therapy (FFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I have also completed advanced clinical training in child and family therapy and hold a SIFI certification. I am currently engaged in advanced clinical training in Perinatal Mental Health.

Over the years, I have worked in many outpatient settings including school-based mental health centers, community-based organizations, in-home treatment programs, and private practice. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, family/interpersonal conflict, and major life transitions. I also work with women who are navigating pregnancy and postpartum.

Seeking out support is often the hardest step in the therapy process. I’m so glad you made it to my page and I look forward to connecting with you!
